Three Unique Walt Disney World Desserts That You Haven’t Tried… YET!

Do you dig Dole Whips and go crazy for Churros? Then you’ve come to the right place! Today, we are uncovering not one… not two… but three unique Walt Disney World desserts that you just have yet to try!!!

Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe (Norway, World Showcase)

Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe, located within the Norway Pavillion at World Showcase, provides guests with traditional Norwegian specialties and piping-hot Viking coffee!

Now, if your a Disfanatic, there is a good chance that you have already stepped foot inside this infamous sweet stop. Maybe it was the allure of the ever-intriguing School Bread that drew you in… or perhaps the irresistible smell of fresh Lefsa. Regardless of your past indulgent experience, Kringla has a new cookie in stock, known as…. The Kransekake.

Now, while this delightful new addition to the menu may appear to be nothing more than a mere almond ring cookie, we assure you….it is a GAME CHANGER! And though I have never tried anything I didn’t love from this micro-yet-mighty hotspot… this may be my new favorite!

Authentic yet accessible, The Kransekake showcases a crumbly exterior, which plays nicely in contrast with its moist and chewy center, making it a true textural experience. Though it is not overtly sweet, the powdered sugar topping did add a festive candied appeal. A versatile snack, it is light enough to eat on a warm spring day, yet hearty enough to become a winter holiday staple.

Warning: I tried this three weeks ago and have been thinking about it ever since! If you’re traveling, I would grab a few to go!

Wine Bar George – A Restaurant & Bar

If unique is what you’re after, Wine Bar George just may have your name on it.

Wine Bar George is well known for its grand selection of wine and world-class culinary masterworks. However, one item on the menu sticks out like a sore thumb, meant only for the most adventurous of foodies… The Olive Cake!

Wine Bar George’s Olive Cake is a savory dessert with a rare and tantalizing bevy of flavors. While it has a bread body, it remains soft and breaks down beautifully with each bite. Served with candied olives and topped with lemon mascarpone, each individual element of this selection comes together in perfect harmony to make one highly elevated dessert!

Everglazed Donuts & Cold Brew

Everglazeds features warm, handmade donuts and a refreshing cold brewed coffee in a classic donut shop where “Happiness is Glazed Daily!”

These hand-crafted confections highlight mouthwatering yeast and cake donuts. Sound intriguing? Don’t take our word for it, you can watch the masters at works right outside the Everglazed show kitchen! That’s right, watch each donut fry and het pilled high with an array of irresistible embellishments.

Though we tried each and every donut available and guess what…. each bite was better than the next! We did, however, narrow it down to four favorites; Cinnamon Toast Crunch Donut, Purple Glazed Ube Donut, Peanut Butter Explosion, and Mounds Coconut Dream. Trust us, if you thought Dunkin’ was knockin’ it out of the park, you ain’t seen nothing yet!
