There is nothing quite like Fall at Disney World. Ask any fan and they will it agree, it is hands down one of the best times to visit the parks. Not only do the heavy summer crowds begin to disperse once school starts up again, but the weather becomes a bit more manageable for the masses. Events Throughout Fall at Disney World

Between EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival and Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, there is nothing not to love about the Fall Events at Disney World.

This separately ticketed event runs on select nights from mid-August to Halloween night at Magic Kingdom. While some may balk at the extra cost, we assure you… it is worth every penny. Filled with rarely scene characters, trick or treating, and exclusive entertainment, you won’t want to miss it!

EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival

We can’t get enough of the EPCOT festivals! This one runs from mid-July to mid-November. Wine and dine throughout World Showcase as you feast on some of the finest culinary explorations out there. And guess what? You don’t even need a special ticket to get it! That’s right, this one is included in the price of admission. So, go ahead… dig in.

Wine and Dine Half Marathon Weekend

Feeling up for a little run? Join your crew for the runDisney Wine and Dine Half Marathon Weekend, this year from Nov. 3 to 6. The weekend consists of a 5K, 10K and half marathon that run through the parks before opening.

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party

Now, we know what you’re thinking! But Walt Disney World starts celebrating Christmas in the Fall. And you can too at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, running on select nights from Nov. 8 to Dec. 22! This separately ticketed event showcases rare characters, special entertainment, jolly-good treats, ride overlays and more! Just be sure to bring your jackets because Weatherman Mickey has predicted a high chance of “snowfall” on Main Street.

What’s Old is New Again

If you’re one of our Traveling Mouse Company friends who are traveling to Disney World this fall, you’re in luck! This year is the 50th Anniversary! That’s means there are a ton of new experiences EARidescent extras hiding behind every corner, like Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at EPCOT and MagicBand+, the new interactive Magic Band that turns your trip to the parks into an immersive experience.

A new version of Finding Nemo: The Musical is back called Finding Nemo: The Big, Blue and Beyond! Meanwhile, a revised version of Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue has arrived at Fort Wilderness. And be on the lookout for the return of Fantasmic at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, rumored to be making its grand re-appearance in November.

Time it just right and you can experience both Halloween and Christmas in the same trip! Take one last look at the Mickey wreaths and jack-o-lanterns pop up along Main Street on October 31st and come November 1st you’ll wake to towering Christmas trees, gorgeous garlands and more!
